Can you provide nursing or wound care after surgery?
Qualicare Home Care Greater Austin provides nonmedical Personal Assistance Services. We do not provide skilled nursing, wound care or therapy. We can work alongside home health, therapy and medical providers while handling daily support in the home.
Can someone take me home after an outpatient procedure?
Transportation may be arranged when it fits the procedure requirements and service plan. Some facilities require the responsible adult to meet specific conditions, so confirm those requirements before the procedure.
How far in advance should I call?
Earlier planning gives the best chance to arrange the right schedule and care match. Families should call as soon as the procedure or discharge date is known, although urgent situations can still be discussed.
