Meet the Owner

Lani Lanfear

My name is Lani, and I’m the owner of Qualicare Greater Austin. I’ve called Austin home for over 30 years, and as a native Texan, serving this community is both personal and purposeful. I bring decades of experience as a business owner with a foundation in exceptional customer service, as well as a background as a financial advisor focused on long-term care planning for individuals and families. Above all, I’m an advocate — for quality care, for dignity, and for doing the right thing, every time.

My perspective on care was shaped early in life. When I was in my early twenties, my grandfather was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, followed shortly by my father’s terminal cancer diagnosis. Experiencing both journeys up close instilled in me a deep sense of empathy and clarity about what truly matters. It’s the reason I built a team of like-minded professionals — people who are committed to making life better for others, and who bring creativity, compassion, and resolve to every situation.
