Liana Sikharulidze
My name is Liana Sikharulidze. I’m a nurse director for Qualicare Toronto and North York. I started my career as a nurse 20 years ago and came to Qualicare because I saw a great opportunity to help people stay at home. I began my nursing career because I used to live with my grandparents and looked after them as a full-time caregiver. Qualicare enables me to support people staying at home. We have great tools, resources, and partnerships, and I’m in a position to utilize my skills, knowledge, and experience to help people stay at home as long as possible.
What Sets Us Apart
At Qualicare, we deliver an interdisciplinary team approach. We provide personal care and housekeeping, which means we can help with showers, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and escorting to appointments. We even offer simple companionship like watching TV together, along with mental and physical stimulation, which is so important.
We also provide nursing services, from blood pressure monitoring to wound care. Our team includes occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech language pathologists, and dietitians as needed. Whether you’re in Toronto, York, Etobicoke, or anywhere in our service area, we offer comprehensive support for all your care needs.
