Jon Kamin
Jon Kamin was born and raised in Toronto. After completing an MBA at the University of Toronto, he embarked on a corporate career in digital media, working with both large and small companies in industries such as automotive, publishing, and marketplaces. His experience includes working with well-known names like AutoTrader.ca and The Toronto Star. When COVID-19 struck, Jon used the slowdown as an opportunity to focus on building a business in the mental health space. His work received coverage from outlets such as 680 News, CTV, and The Star. Through this experience, Jon discovered the deep satisfaction of building a business that made a positive impact on people’s lives—particularly those with acute, immediate needs. This journey ignited his passion for home care services and set him on a path to pursue a new venture in this field.
What Sets Us Apart
Seeking a business opportunity that could truly make a difference in people’s lives, Jon evaluated several options before discovering the home and elder care industry. The connection to this work became personal for him when both of his grandmothers—who passed away at 106 and 99, respectively—were clients of at-home care.
Jon recalls the challenges his family faced in managing their care: finding affordable, permanent spots in assisted living facilities, cycling through caregivers, and dealing with last-minute cancellations. These experiences deeply resonated with him and highlighted the personal, often stressful nature of caregiving. The trust required between caregiver and family is something Jon understands firsthand.
Drawing from his background in building businesses with exceptional client relationships, Jon is committed to ensuring that his clients feel calm and confident in the care they receive. His focus is on providing personalized, timely, and compassionate service.
