Meet the Owner

Allen Cantwell

Prior to 2020, Allen Cantwell built a 30+ year career in technology, including more than two decades with major global firms such as IBM, HP, and HCL Technologies, where he managed large-scale, complex product and services programs worldwide. For more than 10 of those years, he focused on startup and growth-stage companies, helping to bring new products and innovations to market, such as “Cato,” the Bluetooth Motion Controller from AULI.TECH, an assistive technology startup using wearable AI to help individuals with motor disabilities control computers, home automation, and robotics through personalized motion and gestures.

In late 2019, Allen left big tech to launch Inveniam Group, a boutique consultancy focused on data-driven and AI-enabled operational efficiencies. When the pandemic emerged in 2020, Inveniam shifted its focus to cloud-based automation for HealthTech, enabling Value-based Care and better outcomes. The company became an approved contact tracing provider for the state of North Carolina, and subsequently delivered a cloud-based Enhanced Case Management System for Virtual Care Coordination (Transitions of Care) in healthcare—giving Allen a front-row view into the importance of coordinated care for improved outcomes.

In 2023, Allen began supporting Autonomous Living Technologies (AULI.TECH). This experience deepened his passion for purpose-focused technology that enhances independence, productivity and quality of life, but it also led to the understanding that the tech is only useful if the AT Professionals and Occupational Therapists supporting the Users are adequately equipped and trained.

Allen’s personal life also deeply influenced his path. When his mother developed early-onset dementia, his father became her full-time caregiver for eight years – ultimately contributing to him suffering a massive stroke. Living across the country, Allen saw firsthand the strain and isolation that caregiving can bring—and how essential it is to provide both practical and emotional support for families.

When Allen began considering how to focus the final phase of his career, home care stood out as the perfect path—a way to bring together his personal experience, his work in assistive technology, and his understanding of data-driven case management.

After exploring several franchise opportunities, Qualicare Home Care rose above the rest. Its mission to take a 360° approach to care—looking at every aspect of a client’s health, environment, and family support—resonated deeply with him.
