Michelle Bailey
Hi, my name is Michelle Bailey and I’m the owner of Qualicare Home Care here in the Tri Cities. The reason why I got into owning a quality care franchise was a little bit of a tribute to my grandparents. They lived in Montreal and I live in B.C. And so I wasn’t able to spend that much time with them in their later years. And when I was looking at a new opportunity, you know, I was always interested in working with seniors, but I didn’t know how I would be able to work with seniors. I’m not a nurse, I’m not a caregiver, I don’t really have those skills. But what I do have is I know how to run a business. And this just seemed like a really good fit for me. And I really liked what quality care had to offer.
What Sets Us Apart
What really sets us apart as a home care provider is our approach to care. So we have something called a 360 degree approach. And what that means is we’re looking at all facets of our clients lives, the family dynamic, their personality, what their needs are, what their health history is, and we’re making that custom care plan. But what I really think, when I think about the approach to care is how are we going to reach our clients? Everybody deserves to live the life they want to live in their homes, and that’s different to everybody. So when you call Qualicare, what you can expect from our team is somebody to answer the phone every time. You’ll never have to tell your story twice. And that’s something that’s really important to us. You’re not a number, you’re not just another client.
