Get Exercise Each Day
Now, this doesn’t mean you need to run a marathon every day. However, you do need to get moving for at least 30 minutes a day, most days of the week.
Whether you take a brisk walk around the neighborhood or participate in a tai chi class to help with improved balance, it is important to get moving and get your heart rate up. This is one way you can ensure you’re in the best health possible, both physically and mentally.
Get Some Much-Deserved Sleep
How many times have you stayed up late just to get things done? While you might think you are doing yourself a favor for the next day by getting ahead on your to-do list or finishing up a project, you are actually doing your overall health and wellness more harm than good.
Therefore, try to really make it a point to average around seven to nine hours of sleep each nightso that your brain is able to get the rest it needs.
Get Your Day Started on the Right Foot
So, once you are able to get your much-needed sleep each night, you are more apt to be able to wake up on the right side of the bed, rather than hitting the snooze button a million times.
Even better, try to start waking up a few minutes early so you can have some me-time before your day begins. You could have a 10-minute meditation session or enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch while watching the sunrise”whatever brings you true joy.
