The reason I got into working with seniors in the home care space is mainly because of my dad. I get a little teary eyed here. He suffered two brain hemorrhages. He got dizzy, he fell, hit his head on the counter and was in the ICU during COVID. My siblings and I had to be those caregivers. We had to come in and drive six hours because we&#8217;re in the Bay, and he&#8217;s in Southern Cal. We had to take care of him and rehabilitate him. There were times we couldn&#8217;t be there, so we had to look for agencies to step in.\n\n<\/P>\n<P>\nIt was during that time that I realized I wasn&#8217;t really happy with what I was seeing. I felt like we could do this better. That&#8217;s how I got into it. I treat every client like they&#8217;re my parents. This business is very personal to me. It&#8217;s very dear to me. When we come in, we&#8217;re an extension of the family. We come in, we help with taking our clients to doctor&#8217;s appointments, to social activities, we help with meal prep. Sometimes they&#8217;re completely dependent and they&#8217;re bedridden, so we come in and make those meals.
