I recently purchased the Qualicare franchise, which I run with my husband Bert Smith. We recently purchased the territory of the Markham-Stouffville area, and we are very excited with the opportunity to be servicing the community in that territory.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The quality of care that we are able to provide to the community in their own home\u2014specifically to the most vulnerable amongst us, which is the senior community\u2014is what drives us. Seniors prefer to retire in their own home because that&#8217;s where they feel the safest. On the nursing care side, this includes hospital-to-home transitions, medication reminders, and even looking after complex nursing situations\u2014for example, dementia, Alzheimer&#8217;s, Parkinson&#8217;s disease, and palliative care. As far as homemaking is concerned, it could be simple tasks such as feeding, cooking, basic cleaning, and laundry.
