I remember sitting through chemo treatments and hearing people on the other side of the curtain not having somebody to say, &#8220;What does this test mean? What can we do with this?&#8221; So my passion for helping families through these moments has just kind of grown from there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think not being a nurse myself, personally, what I bring is that I&#8217;ve lived it on both the caregiving side and the family side, as well as a patient myself. We can take someone and accompany them to the doctor&#8217;s appointment.
