When<br \/>\n\t you require more individual attention, we can help.<\/p>\n<p>We are often called upon to provide additional care in Southwest Indiana<br \/>\n\t area hospitals. Having individualized care and support ensures comfort<br \/>\n\t and safety, and may prevent complications and reduce the length of the<br \/>\n\t hospital stay.<\/p>\n<h4>Southwest Indiana Hospital Care and Support Services<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Personal care by experienced caregivers<\/li>\n<li>Support through the rehabilitation process or post-operative care<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with navigating the healthcare system<\/li>\n<li>Discharge planning \u201c ensuring the patients home care is in<br \/>\n\t\t place before being discharged from the hospital<\/li>\n<li>Patient advocacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Qualicare Southwest Indiana can provide extra support and comfort in the<br \/>\n\t hospital in many ways.<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Assistance with positioning in bed<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with gentle exercises<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with personal grooming (washing, dressing, mouth care)<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with walking<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with toileting<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with communicating with nurses, other hospital staff , family<br \/>\n\t\t and friends<\/li>\n<li>Assistance with meals<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our early involvement often accelerates a patients hospital departure,<br \/>\n\t and enables us to ensure that proper homecare is in place before they<br \/>\n\t arrive at home. We ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available,<br \/>\n\t all bathroom and bedroom modifications are complete, and that the transfer<br \/>\n\t home from the hospital is safe and smooth. Throughout this process, the<br \/>\n\t comfort and dignity of the patient and their familys peace of mind<br \/>\n\t is always our top priority.<\/p>\n<p>While in the hospital, extended medical insurance (available in many benefit<br \/>\n\t plans) will often pay for care by Personal Support Workers (PSWs)<br \/>\n\t or Certified Nurses, when required.
