I have been a Qualicare owner for 11 years now, and my franchise is located in Southwest Indiana. One of the reasons we decided to partner with Qualicare and open a business in Southern Indiana was because about 13, 14 years ago, I had a grandmother who I was very close with that was starting to show some signs of mild dementia. One of the promises that we had made to my grandfather years before that is we would all do our best to keep her in their home as long as possible. And so that was a big motivating factor of us saying, if there&#8217;s no option out there that we&#8217;re comfortable with, then let&#8217;s develop a solution to solve it ourselves.\n\n<\/p>\n                            <h3><em>What Sets Us Apart<\/em><\/h3>\n                            <p>We can help clients and families with very basic things such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers and ambulation. A lot of what we do is just basic companionship and supervision, making sure someone is safe and able to stay home as long as they can. We also offer light housekeeping services.\n<\/p>\n<p>That could be your basic dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, helping someone do laundry, taking out their trash, meal preparation, taking someone to doctor&#8217;s appointments and helping them get groceries and getting their prescriptions picked up and medication reminders and all of that. So any of the basic non-skilled things that people need at home, we do again with the premise of just keeping them home and keeping them safe.
