Meet the Owner
Amanda Johnson
Hi, I’m Amanda Johnson. I’m the owner of Qualicare Home Care in Guelph, and we also serve Fergus and Elmira.
After about 25 years of IT and business consulting, I wanted to do something more fulfilling. I looked at a lot of different opportunities and really liked Qualicare for a few different reasons.
First, I like the 360-degree approach. I think it’s really important that we can provide coordination for services across different modalities for our clients and their families, and that makes us different from a lot of other providers.
Secondly, I have training as an end-of-life doula, and I have a passion for palliative care. So I really like that I can focus on that a little bit more in my territory.
And finally, I just really liked all of the people that I’ve met at Qualicare so far—from head office to my fellow franchisees.
