Meet The Owner
Raji Ismaila
My name is Raji Ismaila, and I’m the managing director and co-franchise owner of Qualicare Home Care Etobicoke-Vaughan.
My wife has been a caregiver for over 10 years, and her experience cuts across all aspects of caregiving—retirement homes, total care, nursing homes, and hospitals. She’s very passionate about it.
In the last three years, her mom, who passed away in November last year, required the kind of care that needs a dedicated caregiver. We saw what her mom was going through and the difficulty of finding a quality caregiver back home to take care of her. When we came back to Canada after those visits, my wife said, “I know that some people who are in the position of my mom are also here, having that same kind of challenge we had—finding the right caregiver.” That really made us think, why don’t we have something around that? Why don’t we use the opportunity to give back to society, especially with the skills that she has gotten over the past years?
What Sets Us Apart
We provide all services around caregiving—meal preparation, medication support, dressing, bathing, light housekeeping, and all aspects of care. We also provide specialized care for conditions such as Parkinson’s and dementia, as well as post-hospital recovery support. These are the services we provide for various categories of our clients, and we have trained and dedicated caregivers who can handle all these tasks effectively, efficiently, and professionally.
